For those of you wondering where I've been...well, keep wondering. I was gone for personal reasons, and they should be no more problems. I apologize for not posting in that past week, but that's what this article is about. Now, before you start thinking H2Press is going to be shut down or sold, don't worry, we're not. However, there are some major changes going to be happening. For one, the goal of having at least one halo related news item every one or two days is no longer in effect. I simply have other things to do. It doesn't have anything to do with school starting, work, or anything like that, I just am a busy person and this is starting to take more time than I have. Therefore, starting today, news will be more relative to H2Press's projects and services- such as the toolbar, video hosting, etc. I will occasionally post some news that I think really needs to be posted (such as the release of maps, redvsblue season 4, Halo 3, etc.) but the site will rarely be updated more than once or twice a week. I'm not sure if that's the end of the News branch of H2Press or if we'll revitalize it later, but for now it's to be considered over with.
Our forums will remain untouched by this change, so feel free to drop by and say hello. That's all, and thank you for visiting H2Press. -Mike Head Administrator and Publisher of H2Press

Welcome to the first official Video of the Week! Each week, starting today, we will feature a new halo video as our Video of the Week. This will help those of you that like viewing the videos but don't have the time or the patience to sort through the crap to get to the shiney gold nugget (or yellow banshee). To start off this week, we decided to go with a video that's not the newest, but is still one of our personal favorites. Unfortunately, the series hasn't been updated...well, ever, but we still think the first episode deserves props. Halo Poo

Bungie release their What's Update today. (I say today, it's actually exactly midnight right now where I am)
Apparently they're finally going to add the kind of stuff Halo fanatics have been asking for (namely, gametypes that don't suck). The big addition will be multi-team, which will feature teams of four with three players per team. Some gametypes they'll be adding for this are:
# Multi-balls” (2 oddballs) or as I like to call it, total anarchy.
# “Plasma Wars” (Plasma Weapons, No Vehicles, No Grenades, Brute Plasma Rifle start)
# “Gulch Wars” (Coagulation only, Scorpions and Warthogs, Human Weapons, BR start) which you'll notice sounds kind of old-school huh? A little bit Halo: CE. It definitely pays homage – but it's got some Halo 2 flava too.
Go read.

I felt bad about advertising in that last article, so to make it up to you lucky visitors, I'm going to open up the FireFox beta! However, I'm not ready to go public yet, so only a few people will be allowed to download the beta. To qualify, you must register on our forums and then apply for beta testing. Enjoy!
